The Office of Innovation & Entrepreneurship (OIE) at The George Washington University is a university-wide initiative under the Office of the Vice Provost for Research.

Founded in 2010, OIE continues to serve the GW entrepreneurial community through cross-disciplinary education, mentorship, and venture development opportunities supporting every stage of the entrepreneurial journey.

Our Mission

The Office of Innovation & Entrepreneurship (OIE) advances GW’s innovation strategy by providing experiential co-curricular, extracurricular, and incubation programs and services for faculty, researchers, students, and alumni. OIE supports and coordinates activities across the GW innovation ecosystem, assisting with technology commercialization, entrepreneurship education, and partnerships with other institutions and organizations to help cultivate a cohesive and thriving innovation enterprise at the GW.

Our Vision

Serve as centralized resource and coordination office for innovation initiatives at GW, creating an integrated ecosystem of schools, institutions, external partners, faculty and students.
