Sean Connelly is the Finance Manager at GWU’s Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Sean manages the annual budgets of the office as well as grant reporting, expenditure approvals, revenue and expense tracking, and labor distributions and effort reports.
Sean previously worked at American University in the Office of the University Registrar and at the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) in the State Grants and Special Programs department. At PHEAA, he was working under a federal contract as the Supervisor of Customer Relations, overseeing the team responsible for administering customer service for the national TEACH Grant Program.
Sean received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Education and Public Policy at the Pennsylvania State University and minors in Political Science, Labor Employment Relations, and Sociology. He received his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May 2023.
