Industry Advisory Panels

Industry Advisory Panels

The Industry Advisory Panels (IAP), hosted by GW’s Office of Innovation & Entrepreneurship (OIE), offer innovators a unique opportunity to present their startups to a panel of seasoned experts, including GW-affiliated investors, industry professionals, serial entrepreneurs, and GW alumni.

Drawing on over 20 years of experience in the region, these panels function like a dynamic Industry Advisory Board, providing invaluable feedback and guidance on critical business aspects such as business models, go-to-market strategies, and scaling plans.

Why Join & How to Start

How it works

Hosted quarterly, each IAP is carefully tailored to your team’s stage, industry, and goals. It’s like having a personal, equity-free, advisory board focused solely on helping you succeed.

  • Present Your Startup: Using a guided template provided by OIE to present the current status of their startup, outlining key details about their business, product, and market approach.

  • Engage with Experts: After presenting, participants will answer questions from the panel, gaining deep insights into their startup’s potential challenges and opportunities.

  • Receive Tailored Feedback: The panel will deliver targeted feedback on your business model and go-to-market strategy, along with a customized roadmap of high-impact, achievable milestones to guide your next steps and position your venture for success.
