Happening Today, November 20th 2:30 P.M
Join us for the Final Showcase of the Dual Use Regional I-Corps Cohort!
Celebrate innovation and entrepreneurship as top-performing dual-use teams present their final pitches. The event will feature a fireside chat with Dr. Benjamin Harvey, GW Assistant Research Professor and Founder of AI Squared and a keynote address from Jim Williams Former Director of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s U.S.-Visit Program & former Acting Administrator of the U.S. General Services Administration.
This showcase is part of a broader initiative to strengthen the DMV’s innovation ecosystem and national security infrastructure. The Dual Use Cohort aims to expand regional opportunities for founders and partners, foster collaboration between academia, government, and industry, and equip innovators with the tools needed to succeed.
Supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF), the program helps scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs explore how their technologies can serve both defense and commercial markets. The cohort is led by The George Washington University, in partnership with Virginia Tech LAUNCH, Old Dominion University, the Virginia Innovation Partnership Corporation (VIPC), and the NSF I-Corps Hub Mid-Atlantic Region.
