Since its inception, 350+ ventures have emerged through OIE programming and over $1 billion in follow-on funding has been raised by these companies. In the Washington metro area, 60 ventures are still operating, providing an estimated $165 million in added income to the local economy. Over 3,000 GW students, faculty, and staff have participated in NVC yielding 1600+ teams since 2009.

GW students continue their entrepreneurial spirit post-graduation. GW is on the top 25 list of universities in the United States that have graduated the highest number of billion-dollar start-ups.
