OIE leader Jim Chung will be joined by Bill Collier, M.B.A. '16 and Principal at Noblis Ventures; Sebastian Fainbraun, CFA, B.B.A. ‘94 and General Partner at eHealth Ventures; Teddy Gresser, M.B.A. ‘21 and Seed Fund Manager at TEDCO; and Solomon Asad, also a Seed Fund Manager at TEDCO.
Sebastian Fainbraun is a CFA, entrepreneur, and investor. He is currently a founding partner at Shafa Invesco and General Partner in eHealth Ventures. Sebastian is also a venture partner and strategy consultant in several private equity owned businesses in the health care sector. He holds a GW BBA in Finance and has been a judge in the GW New Venture Competition.
Teddy Gresser, Seed Fund Manager, TEDCO (Maryland Technology Development Corporation). Teddy provides support to the Fund Directors of the Social Impact, Seed, and Venture Funds through market research, investment diligence process, and portfolio management activities. He was formerly a Senior Associate with Techstars Equitech. He is a GWSB MBA alum and a former finalist in the GW New Venture Competition.
Solomon Asad is a 2022 Venture for America Fellow and currently serves the TEDCO Investment Team as a Seed Fund Manager. The TEDCO Investment Team oversees the management and deployment of growth-stage equity to support the legislative mandate of generating financial and economic returns for the State of Maryland. Across TEDCO’s 3 underlying asset classes: Social Impact, Seed, and Venture, TEDCO’s Investment Team deploys and allocates capital into the Maryland technology entrepreneurship ecosystem to bring innovative ideas to market.
Bill Collier is a Principal with Noblis Ventures where he spearheads sourcing efforts and is a member of the investment team. Prior to joining Noblis Ventures, Bill was the Senior Director of Investments Business Development and Operations for TEDCO’s Venture Investment Funds. Bill is a two-time GW alum with degrees from both Columbian College and the GWSB, and teaches a VC course at GW with the GW Investment Institute.
