Having emerged in 2009, the Innovation Task Force brings together faculty, staff, and students on a semi-annual basis to come up with ideas that will improve GW's business processes and advance academic priorities. These semi-annual meetings are called ITF Showcases in which participants evaluate the benefits, costs, and feasibility of each idea. The ideas are then vetted and approximately six ITF initatives emerge from each ITF Showcase for implmentation at GW. Each initiative is paired with a staff or faculty member, identified as a champion or co-champions, who is charged with ensuring the successful implementation of the idea.
