2020 GW Summer Startup Accelerator (GWSSA)

How It Works

The ventures chosen for the GW Summer Startup Accelerator take up residence in GW student housing on campus at the end of May. The participants live there and work in the GWSSA co-working space. Participant teams are assigned a mentor and engage each week with a highly skilled teaching team and the GWSSA Panel of Advisors.

Participants are required to work full-time in the GWSSA for the duration of the program.  Participants are expected to spend their time in the co-working space or meeting customers or other prospective venture partners.

The GWSSA culminates with the Showcase and Demo Day, where each venture pitches their business plan to scores of investors, conducts product demonstrations and holds other business discussions.
