2021 GW Research Showcase
InnovateGW I-Corps Site Grants
Participants in GW Research Showcase 2021 can nominate themselves for an InnovateGW I-Corps grant as part of the Research Showcase abstract submission process.
Participants in the InnovateGW I-Corps Site program must first complete the GW Introduction to Lean Innovation Course, a three-hour online workshop session. In the workshop, participants learn the concepts of the Lean Startup approach to innovation, including identifying target customer segments, crafting value propositions and performing customer discovery interviews. Afterwards, participants of the workshop may then opt-into joining the InnovateGW program. In the program, participants must complete 20 customer discovery interviews over the next 2-4 weeks. Participants are guided through the interviews by the program's instructors. Completing the interviews generally takes up to 30 hours. The interviews are done at the participant's own pace.
Participants in GW Research Showcase 2021 can nominate themselves for an AccelerateGW I-Corps Grant as part of the Research Days Abstract Submission Form. They can also apply directly to the InnovateGW I-Corps Program here.
Additional advice and guidance is available to participants who want to apply for one of these grants from the GW Office of Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
